A Generalized Decision Model for Naval Weapon Procurement: Multi-Attribute Decision Making

摘要

The problem related to weapon procurement is complex. A Multi-Attribute Decision Making (MADM) model is developed for naval weapon procurement decision. This model is expected to give a decision maker (DM) a better weapon selection. There are several MADM methods but none of them provides a solution in terms of compensating individual values for an overall value. This paper suggests a new MADM method which can provide an alternative ranking score by compensating these two values.
