At present time great attention is paid to investigation of one-dimensional stratified periodic dielectric structures (SPS). The localization of light energy inside SPS takes place at frequencies of resonant interaction of light with the structure. In this case mean optical path length of light in media is increased. This phenomenon is actively used for enhancement of magneto-optical [1] and non-linear [2] effects in a periodically nonuniform medium. The phenomenon can be also used to enhance the influence of anisotropy of media on polarization light transmitted through the structure.
