Closed Loop Control of Non-ideal Buck Converter with Type-Ⅲ Compensator

摘要

It can be seen from the simulation results that the type-Ⅲ compensator can effectively take care the non-ideality present in buck converter. The type-Ⅲ compensator is being used with non-ideal buck converter to obtain a stable (phase margin of closed loop configuration comes out to be 52°) with significantly small steady-state error than open loop configuration. Also, the presented converter can take good care against the load variation which makes it robust controller. And as the output voltage is less affected by the load variation makes the overall system "a source of regulated power supply".
