The particle accelerators have tremendous application prospects in basic physics, energy science, medicine and other fields. However, the size and cost of traditional radio frequency accelerators fundamentally limit their popularity and accessibility. In order to develop a compact particle accelerator with low cost, we propose a dielectric laser accelerator using cascaded symmetric-double-prisms, which the laser beams excite the symmetric double-prisms and generate a proper electromagnetic field in electron beam channel. The electron beam gets energy modulation and density modulation in the first stage and then gains high gradient acceleration in the second stage. The proposed scheme is millimeter size and get acceleration gradient higher than 1 GV/m for several femto-Coulomb bunch charge, is a promising particle accelerator on chip.
