摘要

A new type of leaky coaxial cable, designed by etching a spiral slot in the outer conductor of the coaxial cable, is proposed in this paper. According to the theory of slot antenna array with periodic structure, the leaky cable with spiral slots is designed and analyzed. The simulation results show that the transmission loss of the leaky cable increases, and the coupling loss decreases with the increase of the slot length. The leaky cable has the best transmission and coupling effect while the slot length reaches half a wavelength.
