In this paper, we based indium-tin-oxide film and polymethy methacrylate (PMMA) substrate designing an optically transparent broadband microwave absorber. The absorber can reach -10dB attenuation in the range of 6.85-17.7 GHz with a wide-angle absorption characteristic for obliquely incident electromagnetic waves under transverse electric (TE) and transverse magnetic (TM) polarization. The absorber is polarization-independent and can achieve above 90% absorptivity for partial C-band and entire X- and Ku-bands with a relative bandwidth is 88.4%.
