In recent years, with the rapid development of 5G wireless communication technology, it develops towards the direction of millimeter wave with higher transmission rate and larger frequency band capacity, and the scattering, attenuation and polarization effects of rainwater media on the propagation of millimeter wave are generated. In this paper, the ellipsoid particle model is constructed to simulate raindrop particles, the equivalent dielectric constant of raindrop medium is used, the scattering characteristics of raindrop are calculated by Discrete Dipole Approximation (DDA) algorithm, and the near-field visualization is carried out by VisIt software.
