In recent years, with the rapid development of computer 3D animation technology, computer 3D animated films have gradually become one of the major commercial films in the world. Computer 3D animated film provides the audience with the convenience of enjoying the film from multiple angles, and has wide artistic and commercial value. In animated films, animated characters are the core of the film, which also determines the final interpretation of animated works. As an important part of computer 3D animated films, characters play an irreplaceable role. The appropriate performance characteristics of the characters in the film can enhance the realistic sense of the role’s action, reflect the purpose of the character’s action, and deeply show the various characteristics of the character, so that the role in the 3D animation is more real and the character image is more full. Based on the analysis of 3D animation film character performance, this paper summarizes the characteristics of 3D film role performance and the elements of art shaping.
