Art Education and College Students’ Ideology Education Method under Information Technology

Art education has unique value in innovating the ideological education model, connotation and path of college students, providing content and formal innovation for ideological education, and enhancing the influence and sustainability of ideological education. This paper conducts a questionnaire survey on college students from four universities in Province A on the current college students’ mainstream ideological identity and the status of art education and ideological education. It is concluded that 85% of college students believe that mainstream ideological teaching should have practical teaching in addition to classroom teaching; 87% of college students believe that art education has brought formal innovation to ideological education and strengthened the educational effect; 80% of college students believe that the Marxist doctrine is helpful to our behavior guideline. Furthermore, it puts forward strategies to improve art education and ideological education of college students, so that ideological education can be better developed.
