In this paper, we have studied the effects of thermal radiation parameters on an incompressible boundary layer liquid metal (e.g., Mercury) flow over a flat plate in the presence of magnetic field. The governing nonlinear partial differential equations have been transformed using Gortler transformation on coupled non-similar ordinary differential equations, which are solved numerically by the use of finite difference technique together with Thomas algorithm. We have discussed and interpreted the effects of thermal radiation parameters and streamwise pressure gradient in the boundary layer on the fluid and the Gortler transformation in our current study. A detailed comparison with previously published results is given.
