FIAMM Energy Technology and Hitachi Chemical joint venture was able to generate a high chargeability EFB product merging the best features developed in Italy and Japan. The new solution is able to deliver double performances in dynamic charge acceptance both according to technical specification tests (EN50342-6) and WLTS profile that simulates- the homologation vehicle test (WLTP). Preliminary field tests show that the potential of EFB+C battery field energy output is significantly higher than what can be achieved by standard EFB technology.
