摘要

Progress in metallization and interconnection of crystalline silicon (c-Si) solar cells has been paramount to the rapid improvements made over the last decade in industrial c-Si cell and module efficiencies. From better understanding of screen-printing contacts to advanced printing or novel metallization approaches such as passivating contacts or plated contacts, innovative ideas are being developed and implemented at an impressive pace. In addition, topics such as characterization/modelling, advanced interconnection schemes, and reliability are actively pursued to further boost the efficiency and durability of c-Si modules. Hence the need for a workshop that covers those topics and allows to discuss the latest status, trends and new directions in the field of metallization and interconnection for c-Si solar cells.
