Daily mineralogical control of Andina Division concentrator Codelco Chile

Knowledge of the mineralogy in mineral processing is relevant to operational decision making processes of grinding and flotation. A robust mineralogical database built by a daily sampling of various products of the industrial plant flotation supports these decisions. The main objectives are: To have daily mineralogical information for heads and concentrator products, by which you can view the changing trends and compare them with the responses observed in the plant; and to meet the daily variability of the ore, in order to detect any deficiencies in the process and mitigation measures to fix issues such as with grinding, lack of mineral liberation and control of operational parameters.
