Blood coagulation estimation using the method of laser-speckle correlation

摘要

This work presents the results of clotting time estimation using the method of laser speckle imaging. The methoddetermines the clotting time blood by calculating correlation coefficient between adjacent laser-speckle images. The studyis accomplished with two different samples of blood, i.e. with fresh blood and blood with anticoagulant additive. Statisticalanalyses of the results obtained under the laboratory conditions provides discussion about the improvement of thesemethods for practical application for the task of clotting time measurements.
