The concentrations of SO_2, NO_2, PM_(10) and PM_(2.5) in Dongying for 2015 were simulated using the WRF-CMAQ model. The localized prediction model was established through the optimization of various operation parameters. The concentrations of SO_2, NO_2, PM_(10) and PM_(2.5) in Dongying were predicted using the meteorological data released in 2015 and by setting different target scenarios for total pollutant reduction by 2020. The results show that SO_2 and NO_2 can reach the pollution reduction goals set during the 13th Five-Year Plan in China. PM_(10) and PM_(2.5) tend to change considerably depending on a region; particularly, PM_(2.5) has the problem of regional compound pollution. The measures of regional joint prevention and control should be adopted for air pollution prevention and control.
