This paper analyses the possible electrical fault of the parallel-series hybrid electric vehicle controller's pedal and shift signal, establishes the hardware in the loop test platform for electrical fault injection into the vehicle controller, using the sensor fault injection card to simulate the related electrical fault of pedal and shift to find the fault processing strategy corresponding to the vehicle controller, and then compared with the expected failure handling strategies, results demonstrate that the controller can meet the design requirements, the test platform can be effectively used for the development testing of the hybrid electric vehicle controller.
