This paper discussed a low profile rectangular patch microstrip antenna design working on dual-band 1.8 GHz and 2.4 GHz. Dual-band characteristic is achieved by using inset-feed point and slot size adjustment. The designed antenna was printed on a FR4 substrate with relative permittivity of 4.4 and a thickness of 1.6 mm with patch size 40 × 29 mm. The measurement results show that the realized antenna successfully working on dual-band, achieving bandwidth of 45 MHz and 95 MHz, gain of 4.08 dBi and 5.79 dBi for 1.8 GHz and 2.4 GHz subsequently.
