摘要

This paper describes the collaborative process for investigating vibration integrity issues and management of vibration risks associated with the design, construction and operation of a gas pipeline and associated re/depressurisation facilities. The commissioning and maintenance of large diameter high-pressure (greater than 100 bara) natural gas pipelines usually necessitates the installation of intermediate bypass stations and automatic linebreaks (ALBs) to enable safe isolation of pipeline sections and to facilitate timely repressurisation and maintenance between sections whilst offering continuity of gas supply to the destination terminal. There may also be other piping features such as pig receivers/launchers that introduce other pressurisation/depressurisation requirements.
