摘要

Clinical mastitis accounts for the largest antibiotic use in livestock, which raises concerns of antimicrobial resistance (Poll and Ruegg, 2007) and expense (Rollin et al., 2015). On-farm bacteriologic culturing (OFBC) could reduce antibiotic use without impact on cow health or milk production (Lago et al., 2011). Despite the benefits, producer adoption has been slow. The objective of this study was to evaluate producer perception and implementation of OFBC.
