The Levelised Cost of Energy (LCOE) is the discounted lifetime generation costs ({EUR}) divided by the sum of discounted lifetime electricity output (MWh). The Generation Cost is the Capital (CAPEX), Operating (OPEX) and decommissioning costs including transmission costs over the life of the project. Reductions in CAPEX and OPEX contribute to the overall reduction in LCOE.
