摘要

The aim of this article is to determine the impact of variability of the air gap above the individual poles of the rotor of the synchronous machine. The main is focused on the calculation of the effect of the air gap in the diagnosis interturn short circuits. There is a simulated course of the induction in the air gap for the rotor with a perfect roundness and for the real rotor. Subsequently, the induced voltage on the measuring coil is calculated. In conclusion the waveforms are compared and the influence of the air gap is defined to measure the interturn short circuits.
