In this paper, based on negative-feedback circuit and equalizer theory, one type of high gain and high flatness broadband low noise balance amplifier (LNA) operating at 2GHz ~ 4GHz band is designed. The designed amplifier features compact structure, simple and reliable, low cost and flexible adjustment. The performance of LNA is simulated and optimized by Advanced Design System software. An amplifier was designed with gain of above 27 dB, gain flatness of below ±0.5 dB, noise figure is less than 1.25dB and the input and output VSWR is less than 1.45.
