Orbital maneuvering in a neighborhood of the collinear libration point L_1 of Sun-Earth system has specific properties, primarily associated with the instability L_1. For a long stay in this area of space the stabilization problem of orbital motion requires a solution. Numerical experiments have shown that for stabilization of motion it is requires very small control influence in comparison with the gravitational forces. On the other hand, the stabilization time is quite long - months, and possibly years. This makes it highly desirable to use solar pressure forces. In this paper we illustrate the solar sail possibilities for solving of stabilization problem in a neighborhood L_1 with use of the model example.
