This paper proposes a novel DTC algorithm that combines the fuzzy logic and the space vector modulation (SVM) technology. By using dynamical inference of fuzzy controller, the torque error, stator flux error, and the position of stator flux, the expectant voltage vector can be obtained. And then, by using the SVM, the actually needed voltage vector is obtained, which makes the asynchronous motor direct torque controlled more effectively. The simulation results show that the ripples of torque and flux are reduced obviously; approximate stator flux circle trace has been realized.
