Indoor localization method of intelligent mobile terminal based on BIM

Global Navigation Satellite System (GNSS) has the advantages of high positioning accuracy, fast, time-saving and efficient. GNSS is commonly used in outdoor positioning. However, it is sometimes difficult to receive GNSS signals in the room because the satellite signals are easily blocked. It is extremely important to find the indoor location method. At the same time, the comprehensive use of intelligent mobile terminal makes people's daily life more and more convenient. Intelligent mobile terminals contain a large number of sensors. We can calculate the location of the target and complete the indoor location of intelligent mobile terminals with these sensors and Bluetooth Low Energy (BLE) device. Due to the current indoor map data collection is not only a heavy workload but also a low efficiency, Building Information Model (BIM) is one of the key technologies to solve the indoor map data collection and visualization in the indoor location of the intelligent mobile terminal. In this paper, intelligent mobile terminal indoor positioning technology based on BIM and BLE technology is introduced innovatively to solve the GNSS cannot be applied to the positioning of the indoor environment problems and the establishment of internal architecture in mobile intelligent terminal positioning model. Relying on this technology, the intelligent mobile terminal indoor positioning platform has been developed to realize the three-dimensional positioning of the intelligent mobile terminal. Experimental results show that the BIM and intelligent mobile terminal can be combined successfully and the accuracy of indoor location is the average value of X coordinate direction error is 1.417m, the average value of Y coordinate direction error is 1.530m, and the Z coordinate direction error average value is 1.452m.
