A rectangular microstrip patch antenna is designed for Industrial, Scientific and Medical (ISM) radio band frequency of 2.4 GHz to be utilized for WiFi application. The simulation of the antenna is done with the help of Feko software and the results are as shown in the paper. The manufacturing of antenna is carried out and it is tested using Vector Network Analyzer (VNA). Different parameters VSWR, return loss and impedance are measured using VNA. Furthermore, a comparitive study of simulated and tested results is carried out.
