Role of IoT and Big Data Support in Healthcare

摘要

Healthcare is one of the major sectors in any country, both in terms of the revenue that it generates and the services that it is providing to mankind, and also, it provides employment opportunities to millions of people. Healthcare sector comprises of technology-enabled health services, multi-facility hospitals, on board healthcare services and telemedicine, multifunction medical devices and specialized machines. In this paper, the role of Internet of things with the help of new technologies involved and big data has been shown towards the field of healthcare.
