摘要

Renewable energy plays a critical role in Smart Grid. As the penetration of renewable energy increases, the management of operations becomes a critical issue. One of the most important task is interoperability among different models and vendors when the system is needed to be centrally controlled. Standardization is the world's trend to solve interoperability problems. This study focuses on standardizing the wind power energy communications, and the standard specifically designed for wind power is the IEC 61400-25. The aim of this study is to develop a procedure for implementing a gateway that transforms traditional communication protocol to the international standard for the transitioning stage.
