Dressage, from the French word for "to train" is known for being one of the Olympic equestrian disciplines in which horses perform very specific exercises and are scored for the way they execute these. Dressage-enthusiasts, riders, coaches and trainers are well aware dressage has a certain way of building up the strength, coordination and execution of the levels of dressage (The Pyramid of Dressage, USDF2), but not many veterinarians are aware of these specific directives which can also be used for rehabilitation purposes.
