The effect of vent ducts on the reduced explosion pressure in vented vessels

In this paper the effect of a vent duct on vented dust explosions is investigated, in order to verify whether it is the length or the length-to-diameter ratio of the vent duct which is decisive. A proposal is included to modify EN14491 (and VDI 3673).
