Glucocorticoid (GC) is a drug widely used in clinical settings and shows pretty good curative effect with strong pharmaceutical action but also accompanies considerable side effects. Side effects such as iatrogenic hyperadrenocorticism or immunosuppression are typical, and due to fear for these, even reasonable use is minded and side effects in old dogs may result in serious situations.
