摘要

In order to have sustainable development, we should focus more toward the renewable energy resources. A high-relative velocity between wind and train causes more air drag to the moving train. The drag is produced because of the energy delivered by the engine to move forward. This paper is all about the harvesting of energy from the air drag and utilizing it into useful applications. The proposed system is highly efficient with an approximate efficiency of around 72.56 %. In this system, air drag is used to rotate the fans, which are mounted on the roof top of the trains, inclined at an angle of 10° to maximize the harvested energy from the air drag.
