The implementation of Fixation, Stabilization and Bottom Ash Recirculation Systems reduces the flow to any ZLD system design and enhances the landfilled products. While ELG implementation for Bottom Ash and Scrubber Waste projects is delayed for two years, the remaining process flow limitations will continue on the same time schedule. Fly ash must be collected in a dry state so any outstanding operations using water for fly ash conveying must suspend operating those systems-even in a back-up roll. The projects related to ELG and CCR are complex and require time to implement. Now that groundwater monitoring systems are in place and excursions are published on the utilities webpage, each entity must ensure they are in compliance.
