IEC TC78 “Live working”: Historical overview, new structure, programme of work, and market relevance

This paper summarizes the accomplishments of IEC TC 78 over the last 31 years, discusses the change in direction taken in 1996 to better serve the global interests and needs of live working, introduces the Strategic Policy Statement of TC 78, outlines the market relevance of TC 78 products, and presents future plans presented in the TC78 SBP (Strategic Business Plan).
