iSagip: A Crowdsource Disaster Relief and Monitoring Application framework

The Philippines has been continuously battered by natural calamities as it is included in the Pacific ring of fire. Earthquakes, floods, and fire are just some of the worst phenomenon that has struck the country in recent years. These disasters have hampered the daily food supply of communities. Unfortunately, relief operations have been ineffective causing several families to be unreached by relief operations. This paper proposes the development of a mobile application for the Operation Sagip Kapamilya of ABS-CBN named iSagip. It seeks to empower stricken communities to inform the world through crowdsourcing their needed aid. Subsequently, this mobile application will serve as a tool for Disaster and relief operations for Operation Sagip and other organizations that provide humanitarian aid. This paper includes the Use Case model, System Architecture, and the System Features.
