The method involves producing a sub-application (S1) logically linked with an application (A), during run-time of the application. A visual range for the application and the sub-application is automatically allocated. The range is displayed by displays. The application and the sub-application are assigned to a common application framework (AF). A logical connection between the framework and a monitor service is formed. The service is associated with a runtime environment and operated according to a principle of a monitor placement facade.
