摘要

Plate heat exchangers are used widely in HVAC and refrigeration industry due to their high thermal efficiency and compactness. In this study, the performance of plate type solution heat exchangers is analyzed and the optimal number of plates are determined by using three design algorithms (epsion-NTU, LMTD and elaborated LMTD method). The number of plates, overall heat transfer coefficient and pressure drop were estimated according to the change of chevron angles(30°, 45°, 60°).
