Catfish is one of the leading profitable commodities. Catfish consumption in recent years has increased. However, the loss of commodity still happened in the entire fishery production chain, particularly in fish cultivation activities, i.e. the spawning process. One of the problems in catfish cultivation is extreme changes in environment temperature. This research aims to develop a system to control thetemperature of the fish pond in ideal conditions for fish spawning that is 27°C-30°C. This paper explains mathematical modeling and simulation using MATLAB to get data about temperature control design and pond description of spawning. The testing results show the temperature control system prototype succeed to keep the spawning pond in ideal temperature condition, i.e. 27°C-30°C.
