A Comprehensive Review of Literature on Individual Cultural Intelligence

摘要

Cultural differences create the need for cross-border employees who are culturally intelligent. This research reviews recent literature on components of a multi-dimensional model of Cultural intelligence, its conceptualization, measurement and distinction from other types of intelligence. The implications justify the importance of identifying the individual differences in cultural intelligence and understanding them is important to build up successful cross-cultural transitions for the purpose of effective international human resource management in the host country environment.
