A vortex based BEM-like algorithm accounting for wake rotation

摘要

The effect of wake rotation is modeled based on a vortex cylinder model. The model is implemented in a BEM code and results are compared to actuator disk (AD) simulations. Significant improvements are obtained compared to the standard stream tube theory BEM implementation.
