Very Long Baseline Interferometry (VLBI) is an important radio astronomy technology, and has been successfully used in Chinese lunar project. In Shanghai astronomical observatory (SHAO), there are two different platform correlator, software correlator and hardware correlator. Model computation is a very important part of the correlator, which is related to the phase and synchronization of data. Hardware correlator use FPGA as a hardware development platform, so the transfer of model parameters is critical. Model calculations need floating-point calculations, if calculated by C language is easier, but the calculation and transmission will make it to the FPGA program time increases, if calculated in FPGA, using the VHDL language, fast calculation speed, and reduce the network transmission time. This paper describes a real-time, 4 channel model calculations in FPGA.
