Selection of sealing facilities for top-mounted filling pipes using multi-attribute decision making

Ensuring the sealability of a top-mounted filling pipe is a key problem. For this purpose, it is important to select an appropriate sealing facility. Providing allowance for the imprecision inherent in decision makers' judgments, this paper employs triangular fuzzy numbers to express the ambiguity and uncertainty. The relative membership grade under fuzzy environment in multi-attribute decision making is employed. From the results, it is shown that the proposed method is both feasible and effective.
