Message from Vice Chancellor, Universiti Sains Islam Malaysia

It is my great pleasure to share a few words in the Proceeding of International Nuclear Science, Technology & Engineering Conference 2015 (iNuSTEC2015).Nuclear Science, Technology and Engineering (SET) innovations are the key drivers for Malaysia to become an advanced nation by 2020. SET should be based on sound principles, guided by the especially principles of Islam as a universal religion, which has propel the growth of science of in the Islamic world during the tenure of Caliph al-Rashid. Many principles of science has been revealed in the Quran e.g. "And it is We who have built the Universe with [Our creative] power and keep expanding it." (Quran 51:47), "We made every living thing from water? Will they not believe?" (Quran 21:30). Indeed, Islam encourages men/women to pursue knowledge to search for the signs of Allah.
