CALCULATION OF THE LTPD VARIABLES SAMPLING PLANS IN R COMPUTING ENVIRONMENT

The calculation of the recently proposed LTPD acceptance sampling plans minimizing the mean inspection cost per lot of the process average quality, when the design of the variables sampling plans is based on the exponentially weighted moving average statistic for the known standard deviation case, is addressed. The design of the plans is recalled first. Then the economic efficiency of the plans is discussed and the calculation implemented in an extension package for the R computing environment is shown.
