Although hypoelastic material based models in general do not have constitutive equations in terms of finite strain measures, there is an exception, when they are loaded elastically only. The proper objective rate form of the material model then can be obtained by objective time derivation of this particular constitutive equation. Such constitutive models do not exhibit any of the well documented spurious material behaviour, which will be demonstrated in an analytical study using the Jaumann rate of the Cauchy stress.
