On head losses in conical diffusers

摘要

The paper is devoted to the problem of reliable estimation of head losses in the conical diffuser-the most important element of the wind tunnel tract. The analysis of the literature sources showed the presence of a significant (2.5 - 6 times) spread of the corresponding data and the need for unification of the calculation technique for determining the loss factor of a conical diffuser.
