Multicolor white LEDs with improved light quality

The light quality of the tetrachromatic and pentachromatic white LEDs composed of red, green, blue, yellow and phosphor converted warm white were investigated. The relationship between the LED ratios and the light quality, including color rendering index (CRI), gamut area index (GAI), color fidelity score (R_f), color gamut score (R_g), and light efficacy of radiation (LER) were built.
