at the heart of all Medical Information Systems (MIS), we found the patient record. It represents a written memory of administrative, clinical, biological, diagnostic and treatment information about the patient. It is constituted around the data accumulation related to a patient's care over time. The computerization of the patient record across the MIS proves to be essential for effective care and rigorous monitoring. This allows, among others, to reduce the access time and delivery of medical information and needs to share information between distinct health partners. This article presents a conceptual and an architectural framework for the development of a medical information system operating in a distributed environment. It is based on multi-agent systems (MAS) and allows intelligent patient monitoring. For its implementation, we chose the JADE platform.
