In this article used loading tests for large diameter and deep drilling piles in Astana, Kazakhstan. Diameter bored piles which have diameter more than 820mm and 13.5 m depth have been executed at the construction site of New Monument in Astana. Also are considered some of the requirements of the designer of piled foundations and to what extent the accessible testing methods comply with these requirements. Finally, are introduced some recommendations are made for testing methods suitable for problematical ground conditions of Kazakhstan. Traditionally, pile load tests in Kazakhstan are carried out using static and dynamic load test methods. Static pile load test is the most reliable method to obtain the load-settlement relation of piles. Most of the static pile load tests are performed using reaction systems. Furthermore, cost and time for the static pile load test are relatively high compared to the dynamic pile load testing. Therefore, the number of pile load tests in construction site is limited to 2 or 5 piles in usual of constructed piles in Kazakhstan.
