Solid solution Cd1-xMnxTe:Fe2+ crystals with the concentration range x=0.09..0.76 was grown by the Bridgman method. The dependence between the lattice constant of the crystals and manganese concentration was obtained. Absorption spectra in the mid-IR range of the optical spectrum are studied. The correlation between the solid solution Cd1-xMnxTe composition, structural properties and the maxima positions of the Jahn-Teller components of the Fe2+ ions absorption cross section was shown.
